Experiences include roles as Senior Procurement Manager and Head of an IT Sourcing department. Extensive experience in vendor selections and renegotiations for IT & Telecom solutions, delivered by global IT suppliers as Software as a Service, Cloud offerings, on premise solutions, infrastructure services, hosted solutions and managed services.
Case 1
Vendor selection of EDMS replacement at Danish pharmaceutical company
Job role: Sourcing lead/lead negotiator | May 2015 – Apr 2016
Project description:
Comprehensive analysis of cross organisational requirements to a) either upgrade current EDMS platform or b) source new corporate EDMS solution covering eTMF, QMS and Submission.
Resulting in a business case and recommendation for a preferred supplier to enter into agreement with, after a thorough 7-step sourcing model, negotiation and contracting.
The suppliers involved in the tender were a mix of 'on premise' and SaaS suppliers. Therefore a 10 year Total Cost of Ownership calculation comparing 'on premise' or SaaS solutions were developed.
Case 2
Sourcing of new IT system for client (Danish pharmaceutical company)
Job role: Sourcing advisor | Dec 2016 – Feb 2017
Project description:
Review and expert advisory to sourcing strategy. The sourcing strategy involved identifying and selecting between on-premise or SaaS suppliers, including Business case and Total cost of ownership. Responsible for the RFP plan, timeline and communication strategy to suppliers. Deliverables included an RFP package containing cover letter and 15 tender documents. In addition defining the evaluation criteria and the process for internal evaluation of +20 internal stakeholders were part of the tasks.
